The Magic Fountain is located on Maria Cristina Avenue, on the slopes of Montjuïc, near the Hotel Paral.lel. Built in 1929 for the Universal Exposition of Barcelona, the fountain is the main element of a set of light and water, waterfalls and ponds decorating the entire Avenue, from the Palau Nacional to Plaza Espanya. On weekend nights, a light, water and music show offers you a romantic and unique set in Barcelona.
Hours for the light, water and music show:
- May to September: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9pm to 11pm.
- October and November: Annual technical stop.
- December to April: Fridays and Saturdays, from 7pm to 9pm.
- Christmas Dates: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7pm to 9pm.
